A couple of weeks ago in a park I found this thin triangular Iron spike about 20 feet
from the waters edge of a creek.
It's down the road from a old colonial homestead from 1785.
It was nearly 10 to 12 inches down.
as you can tell from the pic it definitely has some kind of a build up encasing this thing.
I'm not sure what it's for, possibly log splitting ???
