Last couple of hunts. One 10K gold class ring, eight silvers, two V nickels 1910 and no date, two Indians both 1906 imagine that. Sixteen Wheat's, two musket balls, three bullets, four buttons, two tokens, and a ton of clad, plus some I don't what. Can someone tell me what the copper octagon and square things are? Found them by 100 year old house.

I find them at 100 year old houses all the time. Found about 10 that day. They give me a cent reading. Thanks for the info. One more thing off my mind. LOL

Congrats on the ring and silver and the rest of your finds

I've found some similar ones in old church parking lots and was told they were buggy upholstery tacks. I think some of mine had hooks instead of straight but it's been a while since I have seen one. Not sure but that's what I was told...

G..

Nice finds! Thanks for the pictures.

I find those slate roof holders all over around old houses, they are always around the perimeter of the house and nowhere else, which makes sense because they were dropped when roofing. That was a pretty awesome yard, congrats on all the goodies!

Nice finds - a little bit of everything - gold, silver, injuns, lead and whatsits!

Some nice coins there! Nice ring too. Haven't found one of those yet.

I have found several of the slate things and was told they were for roofing didn't know how though because of the squared end and 90 degree bend. Glad to finally know.
