Got this big 20g class ring Friday night with the DF....went out on the low tide and hunted a few hours along the low tide mark to knee deep.Got the usual trash and $.38 cents!Been a real slow start water hunting, tried a number of different beaches for the past month only got one silver ring and less than 2 dollars clad,so this ring was a big surprise, even if class rings are my least favorite ring to recover.LOL
This is the second class ring this year....first was an Alabama...name and all, can't find em!!This one is a technology institute 1950...only mark inside is 10k..no inscription...owner would be around?70/80 years old I would guess.Thought it could have been passed down to a be a family member...put it on CL lost&Found just in case it was a recent loss...sure is in nice condition!!.Was not deep, only one scoop with the stealth in ankle deep water.GL All

Worthy......With all the contact info on a class ring I personally can't lay claim to it without one last hunt for the owner.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!:clapping:

Nice ring! I'm just getting back into the hobby and spending most of my free time searching the beach. No gold for me yet, but I'm sure finding everything else. Can't wait to scoop up a big ring like that.

Chris

sweeet find..... i have found 3 class rings so far... none were gold or silver..... only 1 out 3 found there way home so far.....congrats...

Thanks ALL...hope the finds continue for us all this summer.....Got two replies from the CL ad.One called about a just lost wedding band in the water while tossing a football...referred her to a hunter that is known up on that beach. The other is about a lost platinum diamond ring lost in a barn...or on the way to the manure pile..OH BOY!!!

Congrats on tha nice ring find.
That ring looks new couldn't have been worn too much.
