New member
The boss,s mate got a GMT off him to work a really full on junk area that his GPX 4500 couldn't handle because there was too much rubbish for it.
He scored 30oz.

Nice! How long did it take for him to get all those pretty specimens? Do you know the karat of the gold? Sure is pretty! Thanks for sharing, Nancy

Great haul of gold..Congrats..

B.T. your posts just makes me itch....................I need a gold fix...........you guys are making fantastic gold finds down there. You can't beat the GMT or the MXT when it comes to finding gold......... .....tell him job well done.

WOW Tell the bloke Congrats!!

Is that coming out of tailings? Or is he busting that out of a reef?

Nice:thumbup:

Came out of tailing's full of rubbish, took him and two mates 2 weeks to work it out. The gold, our gold, ranges from 90 to 97% pure from where this comes from.

Just out of curiosity how much does gold go for there? I suppose it's not the same as the USA.Very good job, well done.

Some great nuggets he found BT. What is the substrate? I love that little one on the right right hand side that looks like a bird (Eagle) sitting on a rock. Do you think he would consider selling it?

Nice gold there,

Is that the 30 oz from 'Eagle Beagle' or there abouts'. if not then another 30 oz or so was pulled from there. It wasn't actually from there but that's where they are saying . you can see eagle beagle from where they found it.

I wish it was me that found it ..

I am telling ya, I sure need to take me a vacation down under. A couple of weeks might just satisfy me, do you guys have prospecting guide services that take people out.

Some of our Guides GARANTEE that you will find gold. Such is the amount of land that is yet undetected but still producing. A recent article in Gold, Gem and Treasure magazine featured an old retired couple who got over 1000 nuggets in 3 months. They said they have a policy they always move camp to a new location if they get less than their 5 grams per day minimum. They got 23 ounces for the trip. That's about 30 grand. Man I could do that for the rest of my life if I didn't have commitments. Its too hot in summer but you could almost rely on making a years wages in 5 months at that rate.

Can't wait till I retire.

There are heaps of mining leases that have expired because the big companies decided it was not profitable to launch a large mine. but if you read the Lease reports (which are available on line) you can see where the gold was and how deep. The sheer number of such expired leases is incredible and that's just in the area that i'm researching. A great thing for the weekend prospector.

Hi all,

Its been so hot here last week or so. This is how hot. Koala's are known to not drink water but get their H20 from the leaves. Well check this out.
