Max, some people have expressed concerns that the 15 kHz of the AT Pro might not be suitable for coins and jewellery, and primarily be designed for relics. Max, based on your findings with coins and today's ring and other postings, it appears that the machine does well for coins and also jewellery. My air tests also showed a good response to coins and jewellery. My musket balls & 3 ringer also hit hard.

You are out there just about every day sweeping the beach.
The city should be paying you for helping keep it clean.
I am watching to see if you will go back to your Minelab detectors or stay with the Garrett.
Keep the reports coming ... Your videos are always fun to watch ... someday you should edit them into a dvd.
Kinda like the surfers did with ... The Endless Summer.
Put me first on the list to buy one.

as far as my minelab.................at pro will never replace my excal or my se pro..................just not in that class of heater...............let me say this..............the at pro does have a nice discrimination package and that iron audio switch is really nice on bottle caps............might be the best going............who knows...........i may have to eat my own words...........

i bought the at pro for the summer mostly when we have fresh drops and lots of studs..............with the higher frenqueny i hope to have a slight edge on chains.
with my square hole scoop i got last year and the studs and tickets that get trapped in the wave wash area here..........i hope to improve with the at pro............i found 3 tiny gold studs this summer and lots of fake ice ones...........maybe i will get lucky and a real diamond stud one of these days.
i know anderson will have a straight shaft available soon for the at pro............my next purchase.............I TRULY HATE THE S ROD...............
