Big diamond ring!!

Woohoo! You sure it's not an 'old cut' stone with fewer facets? The claw setting looks like it's old-style to me. It was a commonly held belief a while back that more claws increased the chance of not loosing the stone plus it was a little more typical of the style two or three generations ago. These days the larger stones have fewer claws (four to six) but the claws are thicker with beveled tops. Any chance it's not just imitation?
