Big City gives up a couple......

Went into the big city yesterday for my last cancer checkup and all went well.....DONE with all that crap! Weather was great and I got in 4 hrs of hunting and turned up these. The wheats were 1912, '23, '26, '44. Couldn't find a place to park by one of the curb strips I wanted to re-hunt so found another and it had obviously already been hit but I got a real bouncy "classic" IH #'s so I found one they missed. Next I drove by a church I've done very well at in the past but there's always lots of activity there so I avoid it at those times. I did notice they'd removed a cyclone fence right along the sidewalk so while the guy was moving the lawns there I took a chance and just did a Pro coil width alongside the sidewalk and got a wheat and the Rosie....lawnmower guy didn't bother me. Then I went to another re-hunt curb strip and found the buffie and a couple more wheats. Hunt was OK but didn't warrant another $85 for food/hotel so I hot-footed it home. Big City is getting a little tuffer for coins I'm noticing..........

Great news and great finds - congrats ! :beers:

I'm glad to hear your beating cancer

Thanks for the words guys....it's much appreciated!

Big black cloud has been removed and so glad I'm done with it, long 6 years but far better than the alternative....lol. Slowed me down some and I lost a lot of weight but I'm still doing everything I used to...just smaller chunks.

If you or anyone else you know is dealing with the crap....hang in there, they've got some pretty good chemo drugs, etc. and are getting better at fighting the crap..........

Back in Podunk with no place to hunt so I think it's time to try and contact the snowbird owner of a private I scored last fall? Hopefully that might turn into something......???????

we will all be rooting for you Sir !!

That was some great hunting at revisited spots!
