Is whites discontinuing the bhid?I heard they were stopping production at the end of this year so i just wondered if this is a fact or just a rumour.If they do i wonder if they will produce another vlf beach machine......i hope they do.

Read on the Whites forum a while back that 2016 would be last year for production of bhid....I said the same thing.....new multifrequency salt water beach machine would be nice...gl and hh!
 
If they change it I hope they just make it lighter. I love hunting with my Beach Hunter ID, If it shows red it is iron, no mistake.
 
No plans to replace it at this time according to whites.I hope they dont think the mx sport is a worthy replacement as a beach detector.The BHID was one of the best beach detectors available,whites are more than capable of producing an even better machine.........i just hope they do in the near future,not everyone wants a minelab.
