bhid with 300 coil Pros and Cons info needed.......how deep

I have a BHID that I recently upgraded from the 950 to the 300 coil and the difference is night and day. You will increase your depth by approximately 20% just by using a larger coil. However, keep in mind depth is relative when it comes to discrimination. If you want to cherry pick targets out of a trashy site then depth isn't as important as discrimination. However, if you're in the surf where targets are few and deep...well, you get the picture. The BHID is versatile enough to give you the depth and power of all metal when you need it but provide you with discrimination when necessary.

Thanks Horsesoldier.....I'm just trying to make a decision......dual field.......bhid300.......infinium.....the bhid300 should be good all around detector.....I have the bhid with 9.5 coil now.....I just want more depth

The Dual Field is the answer. Its the best beach machine for the buck. Your gonna need a bigger scoop!

Thats what I hear.....it goes deep.....I may go that route and keep the bhid just for ocasional rest lol
