BHID which coil do you prefer 9.5 or the 300 coil and why?

If it dosen't float (like mine) I'd keep it, but I have heard good things about the 300 but make shur it's a sinking coil!!!! I've heard some of them float.

Running my BHID in AM supertune I don't think I want to dig much deeper! Than the 9.5 coil.

I have the 9.5 floater coil but use Whites coil stesdy bracket and that work good.
Like R-n-R I use the supertune settings.
Those 3 led lights are the catzass

I will have to check and see if mine floats, had one when they first came out it was a floater had to use a sand bag on it.

The 300mm coil that is now on the BH300 is a Near neutral bouyant coil - there is no weighted/non-weighted option. We've suggested a small piece of pvc filled with lead and capped, then mounted to the side of middle rod with 2 "c" clamps, to reduce water resistance/drag, total weight about 14 oz and with this option you can remove the weight for land detecting.

Yeah, I have the coil bracket on mine as well and your right Joel Supertuned is the way to go. I use mine in the wetsand as well an after having used a weighted loop I'm glad I don't have one.
