BHID likes small stuff!!

Found this and two others last night!! Had sens at 90% in AM mode. Target was about 4 inches deep in the wetsand. Appears to be twisted gold wire with a tiny opal.(dime next to it) Just a steady rise in threshold w/ no light. Target was repeatable and short. Listen to those wispers!!!! GO BHID!!!! Targets were thin but NO TRASH!!!!! EVERY target was a coin or ring!!!!!! I kept hoping for a scoop clanger but no joy!

That 9 1/2 is one heck of a coil. If it's tuned right that's all you need. It brought me alot of gold. Great finds James. Keep um coming.

Be careful what you wish for. I have the 12" coil installed now and although it does cover more ground, I'm finding it more of a challenge to GB. It seems that with the bigger coil you have to turn the sensitivity way down especially in the wet sand to avoid falsing. I'm not sure now whether or not I like the stock coil better.

Is that in the all metal mode?? That's all I use on the beach. When I get tired I switch back to disc. I like the AM mode cause you can whip it or crawl the machine dosen't care still hits and you can run it just about wide open stable.
