BHID coil upgrade

I'm still running with the 10.5 original coil and thinking of upgrading to the SUPER 12.
However I can't help but wonder if a DD or SEF coil might work better,
Has anyone tried one on a BHID and if so .how did it work?

I primarily hunt Lake Erie, but travel to Atlantic coast beaches as much as I can.
