BH Time Ranger discontinued, on sale for $150-$170

Hi,

First post here, not sure if this is the right place to post deals. My apologies if not!

After weeks of looking, I've finally found a reasonably cheap MD with a very good reputation. Radio shack (online) has it for $150 + tax (free shipping), possibly good for today only. Amazon has it for $170 free shipping, and Meijer has it for $160 + shipping. Will probably eventually see price drops at other retailers, although for now it's still over $300 at Kellico.

I'm an utter novice, so this'll probably be my sole contribution 'round here for a while. However, from the reviews I've read this is a great little discriminating detector, and I've recently discovered that we have an abandoned railroad line AND a little known ghost town only about an hour or so outside town, so I'm hoping to come up with some interesting stuff to show and stories to tell.

Thanks for the heads-up boomstick, I pulled the trigger on that Time Ranger deal, geez you can't buy a decent coil for that price!

Those are fantastic prices for a Time Ranger. I almost wish I needed one just so I could buy it. May do it anyway just to have in case my 505 ever dies. It may be older but they are still a GREAT detector.
