BH replaced my 6 year old time ranger

Does this sound correct. Sent my 6 year old unit back to Bounty Hunter. BH calls an tells me, my unit is out of warranty it will cost $30.00 for repair. Send them CC info, and tell them fix it..

Today a brand new unit arrives. Very pleased an surprised expecting my old unit returned and repaired. Has anyone else heard of this
