BH Neglecting Their Main Lineup?

 Is First Texas / Bounty Hunter neglecting their main lineup of machines? It appears that they are investing a lot of time, money, and energy on the new Fisher "F Series" detectors. There has not been a new mainline Bounty Hunter produced past the Time Ranger in a long time. I'm not talking about Teknetics or Fisher. I am talking about the main product line of Bounty Hunter units that start with the BH Junior and go all the way up to the Time Ranger. Has anyone else noticed this? I am not interested in Fishers anymore. But I am very interested to see a new machine that would go beyond the Time Ranger. Is this where they are stopping?:bounty:

I have noticed this also....They have been focusing all their attention on the new Delta, Omega, and Gamma lineup and the F series machines...
Not sure what they could add to the Bounty Hunters to go beyond the Time Ranger, but it would be nice to see something new by Bounty Hunter...

It would be great to see them produce a state of the art dedicated Gold Detector. Something that surpasses a Gold Bug or Goldmaster in capabilities but at only half the price or so, what they are known for in general with their other models...seems possible with todays high-tech circuits. I want one that only beeps on gold nuggets! Lol. The closest thing they make to a Gold Detector at this time is the Land Star as far as I can tell.

what i want to know is how many people ever heard of the bounty hunter prospector dx other than me and why i only hear of the lonestar ranger never the prospector dx is it a cheap made model or to costly ? some one please help me out i feel like the odd man out with my prospector dx every one knows the company name but not the machine i am using other than hey bass pro sells them .

The Prospector DX is the same exact unit as the Walmart Pioneer 505. The graphics on the units are slightly different, but the features and performance are the same. They are both very similar to the Bounty Hunter Sharp Shooter 2 detector excepting they feature a depth indicator where the Sharp Shooter does not, graphics, etc. http://www.detecting.com/products/product.cmdl?c=378c73509a2911d4

Looks to me like it is between the Sharp Shooter II and the Land Star. It has most of the Land Star features but lacks the Ground Balance control.

Yea, thats what it is. A Landstar without the ground balance knob. So, to the original poster: you have a killer machine. It is not a cheap unit, but a detector that can find just about anything that is out there. Same detector as Pioneer 505, which are very well known and respected.
