Finally received my 5" coil. Did some air testing tonight and it was able to hit a quarter at 7 1\2 to 8" every time in mode 4 with max sensitivity 10. Pretty impressed. Can't wait to try it out in my old square nail infested yard!

It does do very well, you might even get a little better than that if you manually tweak your groun balance. HH!

Any tips for using in iron infested area's? Still getting used to this machine. Do you usually up the ground balance or lower it some? I'm new to manually adjusting the gb! Thanks farmer!

Great depth. Some choose to balance slightly negative to account for gathered mineralization while swinging. I never found it to affect anything so I just balance to the apex (highest reading).
