OK...now I am lost...not sure if your directing this question to me, or a question about a Land Star...as I read about 6 different forums, plus my own *place cheap plug here*:

I lose track of threads very easily...if your talking toggle switch, and I think your referring to the tracker 4 or Commando...I would hunt in the DISC mode to start, with the DISC turned all the way to the CCW position...and dig every repeating signal...nugget is the tracker 4 wizard here...I have never owned one, and only go by what I have read...

If your coin shooting, i find disc mode to be a good setting.
And if your looking for relics, all metal mode is the mode for you..
