BH Headphones HEAD-W vs HEAD-PL

Silver Dragon

New member
What's the major difference(s) between the BH HEAD-W and HEAD-PL? I can find both, but I don't see any difference in them. Any guidence here would be appreciated.

As near as what I could find out, the W is an upgrade of the PL. I'm not positive of this, but I ordered the W version today anyway. I hope I'm not disappointed. What I can say, is that after the hassel I've had in finding any solid prepurchase information about my machine (Lone Star) and now headphones, I'm pretty sure my next MD purchase will be from a different mfg. I do wonder why BH is so secretive about their products, hmmm seems they're hiding something.

Welcome! Cool avatar! I dont know the answer to your question, but some of the long time guys say headphones are almost more important than the base machine....cant find what you cant hear and all....
I like the headphones that have separate volume controls for each ear, that way a guy can balance out the sound. Good Luck!

Thanks Mud, I appreciate the reply. I ordered the "W" version and received them today. They are what I wanted: separate volumn, stereo/mono switch, coil cord connection, 1/4" plug and so forth. I really couldn't be more pleased so far. When it warms up and I can move on to field testing, I'll know more.
