BH frequency?

A friend of mine has a BH "Treasure Hunter" (or something like that) and has the standard coil for it. I recently ordered the 4" coil for him to help with trashy areas. I am wondering if the frequency is controlled by the detector or by the coil? Either way, does anyone know what frequency(s) Bounty hunter operates at?

I found it myself. 6.7 kHz.
