The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

It's a Chinese pointer and it sucks plain and simple. They handle warranties even worse. They supposedly have a fully submersible model out now that looks the same and since a fully waterproof pointer is everyone's want list I figured I might prewarn you all about this company. NOT GOOD! http://www.metalprobe.com/
 
Or are you speculating. That's a nice and informative website. Just wondering how you know.

I bought one in July and they told me afterwards that they had switch issues and to hold tight until the updated one was released and they would swap it out. The depth was worse than terrible, you had to luck out and touch the coin or root around, get mad, stand up to pinpoint with reg. detector and try again. It quit last week and they wanted me to send it to the ebay dealer and he would send it to them. The dealer even said they sucked and he stopped carrying them and didn't want anything to do with it. I contacted the Company again and told them this and he said I had to send it to the dealer and absolutely refused to send me a new one. I ordered a Makro and repaired my Nokta RS for the time being but it's just terrible customer service on Metalprobe's part. Not to mention the masking tape and hot glue holding the guts together. But on a side note Nokta is sending me a new RS because of it's switch issues, I got an old one with a slide switch that packed full of mud after the 3rd plug. I was talking about it on a post in garys and some guy from Nokta got on there and wanted to replace it for me. Really cool, that guy could have sat there and not said a word and I wouldn't have know that they updated them or that it was even under any kind of warranty (which it was not! out of warranty but they are doing it anyway!) :clapping:

:rofl: He**, I've used one! You need more than ruck if you buy one of these......you will also need a new Makro ordered immediately for when it goes T U in a week. :thumbup:
