I think the conversation went something like this..." Charlie is worried sick about your tires. He found a couple used ones, and we hope you won't be offended if we get them for you. Bev said she thought she was going to cry. She told her , just consider this a Christmas present for your family."
Bev is driving her to work in the morning, and I will get the car taken care of.
We all have had hard times in our life and I know she appreciates this.
I will sleep better tonight knowing my little friend will be in a safer car.
