Huntress and I were solo for this mission. We were in the water by 4P on sunday evening into a 821P -0.9L. Winds were 10-15 out the ESE, which is about the worst for sanding us in. We were hunting an area that looked productive, but we had never hunted there before. Had a clad glory hole at this location. Ended up with $1.94 in clad at this location. At around 9P, we went further east to give it a whirl there. Hunted deep in the mine, as the tide was still real low and was hoping to cover water that I had been previously unable to reach. It worked, as I recovered 3 rings here and hit another clad glory hole. Ended up with $1.73 here. My headlight flooded at this location, so I was feeling for the target in the scoop. Going to change lines on the headlight, because I must have a submersible for occational headstands in the surf. Ring #1 was copper with rhinestones. Ring #2 was a .925 spinner. Ring #3 was unmarked and is non-ferrous and real wide and holds on the silver test acid, so we'll call it silver. It says "Mike" on the inside of it and appears to be a ring in a ring, real weird! Also had a small non-ferrous unmarked hoop earring. I bailed at around 1130P, as the Excal was beginning to false from discharge and it had already gotten sanded up pretty bad from the incoming tide. When I got to the truck Huntress was already asleep. Guess I wore her out!
