I haven't posted in a while 'cause I hadn't found much to post about.I did manage to unearth an 1847 large cent yesterday,so things are looking up.Got it soaking in olive oil right now trying to loosen the corrosion.Anybody know of a safe to remove the crud without hurting the coin? From what I can see the details on the coin are in very good shape.Almost like new. Thanks for any suggestions.
