Better than a CS plate??

I know..I would have never thought either..I dug this yesterday and tossed it in my car until i got it home and did some research. Apparently, this little token is very rare. There is one featured in an upcoming coin and token auction in VA and it's listed as $2500+...The only other modern sale of one was in an 1990 auction...a VG one sold for $1870....

Issued between 1828 and 1832.....

...Still wish it had CS on it somewhere:)

One of my friends dug it in Nashville probably 10 years ago. He sold it for $75. I knew it was rare but he didn't take the time to research it and put it on auction. Great find bradgtr1!
