Yeah smoking is a killer. My granddad smoked three packs a day until he kicked off at 92. He worked until he was 88. My great Grandmother smoked a corncob pipe right up until she kicked off at 105.
I'm not supporting smoking but there are a myriad of things in the general environment that will kill you quicker than smoking and do so every day of the year.
A jogger jogging along a city street for one hour sucks in more toxins than are contained in a pack of cigarettes. Should he give up jogging? <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

I really feel second hand smoke also causes problems..Has a lot to do with the genes of individuals...Personally smoked cigars for 30 years and gave them up years ago. Reminds me of the health enthusiast that became a hood emblem on a tractor trailer while jogging a busy street. I certainly do not advocate smoking but let smokers do their thing..and wonder if my wife is decreasing my lifespan with second hand smoke..
