I had Nicad batteries in the battery pack that were not good. I had the battery pack re-built with Nimh batteries, and Now I am looking for a Good Charger to Charge the new Nimh battery pack.

just go to the only battery packs web site & scroll down the left side bar & click on Excalibur & order it from them for only $39.00 Nimh Pack...number 12027........also their Peak Charger with a red/green light is only $20.32 number 12515....I been using these for years with no problems & the charger is fast...only takes a couple of hours to have it all charged up......

I use the one foiled again is talking about. Name on it is Powerizer universal smart charger. Has the light and does charge fast. I'm really happy with it. Had it a couple years now with no problems. Joe.

I have been using this one for my Excalibur for years. Its the GWS mc 2002 about 30 bucks. All you need to do is chop off you wire and plug from the Minelab wall wart. these are the worst thing you could ever use on a battery. They just keep charging till the thermistor heat to a point as they stop making a contact. You can charge your Excalibur in 1 hr with this no heating and your battery will last for many more years. I charge at 1c but you can push it to 2c without a lot of heat. Just make sure you get the polarity correct use a multi meter!

I use the same as BCNJ and i've been useing it for a while and works great, HH

I found a Battery charger. It will charge batteries @ .9 A or 1.8 A with a light that comes on when the battery is full. I will go with the slower .9 A Charge.
