I have had my AT Pro since the last week of July and have found mostly clad dimes, quarters and pennies with a few wheat's thrown in. Yesterday I received permission to hunt a neighbors yard. I waited until about 9am this morning to go there. Was there about 15 - 20 minutes and noticed the battery meter showing only 2 bars. I went home and changed batteries. I had an appointment to get ready for starting around 10:30 and thought I should just stay home now. NA.....went back found a wheat and newer penny. Then got a nice high tone that read about 8". Put the Lesche in and hit a rock. Told myself to leave after this dig. Took out the soil and checked again and had to pry the potato size rock out and bingo!! There was the coin covered in dirt. Thinking it was a Merc I just put it my pocket and left. Thrilled to see it was an 1897 Barber after washing it off. I may have done some damage to it when prying out the rock. But what hey.....!!
Sorry....photos are a little big.
Thanks
