Best way to waterproof coils?

Carl M.

New member
Has anyone waterproofed a coil for a Minelab Eureka or X-Terra 70? Is there a way that works on any coil that isn't specified as being waterproof? If anyone has had success or failures I like to learn more. Photos would be helpful. Thanks.

You know the stuff that pickup beds are lined with? Well most all parts stores sell a similiar version in a spray can. I have used it to undercoat the inside of my truck's fenderwells. It sprays out heavy and rubbery. Why wouldn't this stuff work????
