What is the best way to clean coins, buttons, buckles or items you can't tell what it is? We usually use a little dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush. Old bottles are really hard to get clean down inside also. Suggestions???

I collect antique bottles one way to clean the inside is to fill them full of dollar store brand liquid drain cleaner (50 /50 solution with water) and let them sit for a few days.. comes out perfect... would NOT suggest this method for coins..

Tumble the clad. Pennies separate. Nickles separate. Dimes and quarters together. A home built electrolysis unit for zapping old crud off of something. Never clean anything worth money. You can ruin it.

Some of the larger things like Hot Wheels etc. I put in the dishwasher. Then run them with the regular load. They come out pretty good.
