not even good for exchange,,Mabel's quit using token in the late 50's.
but the tourists pay a lot for old vegas souvenirs.
went back today, got three more copper slugs, 60c in clad.
still trying for a silver dollar or few.
(sure would like to poke around the old RR depot)

Hi Dan,
I'm a life-long resident of Southern Nevada. I can remember all of the souvenir shops up and down Fremont Street selling similar tokens. Do an Internet search for "Brass whore house tokens?" and you will see that such tokens are extremely rare and the authentic ones never advertised the "service" to be performed, but usually stated that the token was "Good for one drink." Interesting find, none-the-less.
