Best thing since sliced bread...((F-70))

Took it on an actual hunt locally for about 45 minutes and after Fisher gave me new coil, software and battery hardware and its a different unit and yes I rescinded it from the classifieds....Heres my post Wow almost made a mistake...came back from Fisher like a new unit workwise so its a keeper..Afraid you will have to put up with me for now and the guys and gals on the CZ forum must be cheering...Heck only had the sens. at 50 and it was quiet and air tested a quarter at a foot and surely didn't want to dig that deep in a local park loaded with many people...

dan's been a staunch supporter of cz's since '91.he will forget more about the cz than even nasa tom knows!..can't figure why all of a sudden,he has pitched em to the dogs!..maybe the f-series is the better detector?

I was just busting on him there......had to rib him there for saying I had to work on my sweep ;)
But, I think the F70 is going to have to be really extra special for Dan to keep it forever and not go back to a CZ. I've seen him try alot of stuff out. Heck I can't blame him in either case......I now like to try other brands out too, and I often wish I still had my trusty CZ-7A around as that thing found me a ton of good stuff.....

me too!..i owned a nice cz-70 a while ago,and in hindsight traded it!..wish i still had it,but will NOT chase another one as my f-75,once learned,,will be the detector of choice for me..besides,to be honest i can' afford any more!..too expensive for me!

Wish I could afford both or for that matter a half dozen as all have their good and bad points...Right now thinking along the line of owning both by next year...Both are good units in their own right and heck if I had 16 years of experience with a F70 things might be different..In any case hope I have not offended anyone as I am a prolific poster and sometimes get carried away and things don't come across as intended...

Well I just got the F70 and from what I'm seeing so far-this things a SWEET little machine (maybe even the best thing since homemade bread)!!!---I haven't had a chance to take it on actual hunt yet but have been testing it in my yard & test area.---That concentric coil is a really nice little coil & I.D.ing steel bottle caps really well, and that is sure what I was hopeing for.--Now I'm wondering what's going to happen when & if I put the big DD coil on it.---I know all about what they are SUPPOSED (coils) to do but I like to see for myself.--I am getting one for both my wife & myself and putting the Sunray inline probes on them.--It's the first time we have ever had a nice light (good) machine with an inline probe on it.--I think it's going to be a keeper!!---Thanks to you guys that gave me input on it before I bought them.----------Del

dan!..you are a friend on this forum with tons of solid advise given in a very unselfish manner!..i just wished i knew as much about cz's as you do,and you have helped many people get more out of their detectors by sharing your experiences!..a tip of the hat to ya!..dan!
