what is the best settings for coin hunting mostly silver and nickles i,v tried some changes but the id is iffy hunt mostly out yards and cemetaies around shade trees thanks Tim
 
Get the book on the quattro as it is not so big that it takes a long time to get through but it is filled with info that will take a long time to fully comprehend.

I am fairly new and just finally figuring things out where I did more good stuff than bad stuff and even then I know it could be either.

As someone new I ran in coin first but after much reading in the book and on line here I finally have settled on all metal. I cross saved to coin and use that sometimes but since virtually every place I have gone to has so much stuff I think it gives me the best chance to see something I want to go after.
