best place to find jewlery in New York?

siz

New member
I live in upstate new york (by poughkeepsie if anyone know the area). I was just wondering if there were areas that I should look out for when it comes to trying to find jewlery, I know parks are great for coins, and beaches for rings but sadly there isn't any beaches around here. So does anyone have any thoghts on this? If you live in new york specifics would be great too.

Thanks everyone in advanced,

Also playgrounds, but for sure wherever the snow is plowed or shoveled, in locations that lots of women frequent, like the YMCA or Health club parking lots, You will know if you are in the right spot from all the targets there. Good Luck
Mud

Huh I never would of thought about detecting the edges of sidewalks. Sadly there isn't really any snow around so not much shoveling going on

lol I'm only about an hour and a half away from the city if that's what your talking aboout.

Beaches, Tot lots, Soccer Fields, Volleyball Courts, Private Property...

HH,

If you have any swimming pools with grassy areas, that's always a good spot to hit a good ring or two. Work the fence line, might be tough getting up next to, but some goodies hide up there. And I'll give you 10 bucks to kill that blinking avatar!!

Lol I worked hard on that blinking avatar thank you. But I have been thinking of changing it. So what suggestion do you have for me to change it to?

Lol why does it make you feel uneasy?

Hmmm?? Your asking where in NY to go detecting for rings. I can't give you a exact place but from my point of view,,,I thinking ,,,,where in NY could you go detecting and not find a ring??

Places that have people traffic,,,are great places to detect. Are there allot of people in NY????

Figure out where people gather,,parks??? The problem I can see for you,,,is ,,,we all know people drop things,,, like rings,,,, and with the amount of traffic possible for you in NY,,,,,they also drop other things,,,like pull tabs. It could be a battle to separate them,,,but the rings ARE there. You got to dig the junk!!! Parks seem they would be great!!!!

To avoid some of the junk,,,,I would be hitting the schools. Moms love to take the little ones to school,,to the playground. I have found more rings at elementary schools than anywhere else.
