I found one of those spinner rings (inside part like yours), and thought it was a bearing race at first...Some of them are .925

It's very light, no markings and looks pitted in some spots. Nah it's junk.

My cutoff for cold is usually -15C and love hunting in the snow on toboggan hills looking for lost items. I have so far found in deep snow gold rings, silver rings, a camera, I-POD, several cameras and a memory stick with lots of baddy photos on it. :)
 
Gonna be -15C windchill here after midnight. Arctic front moving through, no snow but damp chilly. I'll pass....
