Found this little {about an inch long} lapel pin the other night, and I about pitched it until I rubbed it and saw some writing. Emerson & Brantingham was formed in 1909 and made stationary gas, steam engines and foot assisted lift for implements. It read around 13 and was about 5 inches deep.
