Me and my buddy Charlie hunted a field near town where an old place stood back in the late 1800's to early 1900's First I dug a Worlds Fair Token from St. Louis 1905, next came a 1910 Wheatie, next came a 1865 IH, next came a 1905 IH, an another Wheat. By that time I was fired up looking for my next find. I got a very slight whisper from my SE and tried to pinpoint it but it wouldn't . About every other pass or so I would get a faint whisper. I dug and dug and nothing , thinking deep iron I covered up the hole and moved on. Coming back the other pass down the next row of beans I tried that spot again same signal as before. I told Charlie I was gonna dig till I found whatever it was so I started my excavation. About 8 inches down on edge out popped a 1848 LC. After I settled down I felt a cool breeze and noticed I had a slight wardrobe malfunction. I had ripped the whole crotch of my pants down to my knees. Funny stuff anyway.
I continued on and a little later dug the 1867 Shield nickle. All before noon today. Best day ever. I enjoy sharing my finds with you all.
Thanks for looking
