BEST FINDS EVER IN A MORNING HUNT

Me and my buddy Charlie hunted a field near town where an old place stood back in the late 1800's to early 1900's First I dug a Worlds Fair Token from St. Louis 1905, next came a 1910 Wheatie, next came a 1865 IH, next came a 1905 IH, an another Wheat. By that time I was fired up looking for my next find. I got a very slight whisper from my SE and tried to pinpoint it but it wouldn't . About every other pass or so I would get a faint whisper. I dug and dug and nothing , thinking deep iron I covered up the hole and moved on. Coming back the other pass down the next row of beans I tried that spot again same signal as before. I told Charlie I was gonna dig till I found whatever it was so I started my excavation. About 8 inches down on edge out popped a 1848 LC. After I settled down I felt a cool breeze and noticed I had a slight wardrobe malfunction. I had ripped the whole crotch of my pants down to my knees. Funny stuff anyway.
I continued on and a little later dug the 1867 Shield nickle. All before noon today. Best day ever. I enjoy sharing my finds with you all.
Thanks for looking

It's funny how a slight whisper of a signal that you can't find
right away will wear on your mind until you dig and dig and finally
see what it is. Congrats on some sweet finds Kozyman. HH

Kozyman, I think you found a real good site to hunt. With that much old stuff found I would hit it again. I'll bet there is more there yet. Go real slow and hit it from different angles while listening for real weak and maybe "iffy" signals.
Good luck. Ken

Very nice finds there kozyman.:clapping: I would bet the house that you are going back to that spot. Thanks for sharing and good luck when you go back to that place. HH.
