Here's my best finds for 2004. These were found in several locations including a few in my own back yard! Our house was built in 1869 but- there was a squatter here on the property from 1867 in a log cabin until the home was built in 1869!
I also found several wheats (100+) and approx. $145.00 in clad (not shown) and an aray of misc. relics, junk, scrap, etc. etc. also not shown.
Thanks for looking and HH,

paying off. Wouldn`t be surprised if you found even more coins and misc. Any good wheat dates ?? I went through my yard about 6 times and found more coins each time. My 4.5" coil found what the stock coil didn`t. I love that little coil and it is my favorite. Great finds and hope to see some more pictures.

I'm sure there's more to be found in the yard. I didn't move in until Dec. and we've had snow on the ground most of the time since then. I was able to hunt 3xs so far since moving in. I'll be getting out there again when warmer weather arrives! Michigan sucks for detecting in the winter
All wheats found in 2004 were all common, nothing to write home about. A few teens, 20s and 30s + lots of 40s and 50s.
I may take a trip somewhere warmer for a week during the winter here and get some detectin in. Went to FL last yr for a week! Thinking maybe the east coast this year

The weather here in Colorado has been cold with some snow except for the past few days. I wanted to get out today but the lower back has been sore and i been taken it easy. I bet you get that extreme cold air because of the lake. I grew up in NY State and have an idea of what it is like where your at. Colo. is a bit drier but the wind still cuts through ya. If you have read any of John Edmontons posts ,he is out when it`s 10 and 20 below up in Canada. He sure has a great collection of coins ,rings and more. Well ,looking forward to more from That Old House. Try Arizona and do some nugget hunting. Take care and have fun.

Some real oldies there. And three halves in one year..very nice indeed!

We get cold air and a fair amount of snow too because of the lake Bob. 75 inches is an avg. for winter in this area but sometimes it's as high as 100+ inches. Jan, Feb and Mar are the worst here. Temps in the teens/20s on avg. sometimes lower, sometimes a little higher. Snow stays on the ground for those months and then april comes and we can get out and hunt again!
Is it april yet!?
