Best day of my new hobby.

After owning my 250 for almost 8 weeks now and logging maybe 50 hours I finally ventured out into unchartered waters and discovered a great place to MD. The picture below shows some of my finds that I managed to coax out of their resting place. Managed to sneak away from the house for about 45 minutes on Fathers Day and attached is the best finds. Thought it was interesting that the 1st thing I found was the novelty "DAD" key / knife! Besides the dimes, I found 14 wheaties, a couple of nickels from the 40's and a few modern coins. Interesting that the Barber dime was only about 2" deep with the '39's being about 4". The token/ promotional coin was about 6" deep ..... it has a date of 1969 on the front along with a picture of the US Mint in Philly.

Can't wait to hunt the rest of ? acres of new turf!

Very nice, good job.

That Key knife alone could be worth some money.
Jack knives are a real collectors item. Call around or check on the net with antique dealers.

Great knife. Three real nice coins too.
