Best coil for old homesites

tater ball

New member
Is the stock coil the best or one of the sun ray coils. Thanks for any pointers.

i see a 8x6 on kellyco....where can I find the 6x8 , want to look into it

The closer you get to the house the smaller the coil. This is because of the numerous repairs a house undertakes over 100 years or more. Lots of nails, bits of flashing and pieces of cans just to name a few.

The stock works well if not to trashy. In extreme conditions the Sun ray X-5 is THE best coil I have used.

I have heard alot of good stuff about the sun ray coil. Think that might be my next purchase. Thanks for the input guys!
