Best coil for field hunting

I have some permissions on the farm fields later this year when the crops are out of the ground. I am running the AT Max with the standard coil. I was wanting to see other opinions on what is a good field hunting coil. Any thoughts???

I think you are going to do just fine with the factory DD coil. For max. depth, hunt in true all metal mode, setting the iron audio at about 30 to let you know if it's iron. The other option is to go and purchace an after market coil. The rule of thumb is, the larger the coil, the greater the depth.Generally, relic hunters dig it all! Good luck.

Hands down the Ultimate 13". I've tested this coil extensively and the balance is also better than stock, added benefit. In mature test gardens the results have been impressive, typically an added inch+ on accurate ID''s. It is a field coil though.
