Best Beach Detector and best wading detector

I just moved to the east coast of Florida. What is the best detector for the beach and what is the best detector for wading in the surf>
 
Hey hey, not that I do any of that type of hunting myself. Have heard that the minelab excal is the best made. Hope this helps you some way.

salt sand& water ...the only VLF's that work well are CZ21/CZ20 and Excalibur...if you just hunt the beach and not in the water id go with the Sovereign GT..iv owned all 4 and like the CZ21 for water.

All good VLF choices, no doubt about it!:thumbup: If it's used near the water I'd want it waterproof though, Excal is really just a waterproof Sov. when you think about it (except for the meter).
