Best at unmasking

I have never used the minelab, but I have to say I am very impressed with the ATPro with the 5x8 coil. It's ridiculous lol!
 
[size=large]I've had both. I have to go with the garrett. The ml leaves ya wondering about what it is trying to tell ya. Then again it may all boil down to the user's experience.

Never run the Minelab either...but the AT-Pro with 5X8DD or Sniper coil is very, very good. The standard coil...forget about it. Only machine I have run that does better then the ATP with smaller coil on it is my XP Deus.

They are both very good. The Explorer is gonna take you longer to learn but will offer better ID at depth and better overall depth. But its not good to wade one:detecting:

One line questions like this are hard to answer completely as there are many factors involved. No matter which you get, learn it and you will do well.
