Bentonville hunt

Went back to Bentonville where a friend of mine owns some property on the battlefield. It has been well hunted and the weather wasn't ideal--90's, humid, buggy, and the woods were full of vines and briers. Anyway the pics are of two items that were of interest. One is a percussion cap and the other is (?) possible the letter I. Wonder if anyone can give me some insight. Thanks,
Andy from Hillsborough

cool finds

Nice finds. You just wonder how many of them caps they went through... KEN. Ind.

I stopped by there on my way to VA last Thursday. That is a huge battlefield area.

Most of it is owned by the state now. I have a friend who has land on the battlefield, but he just gave or sold most of it to the Trust. Did you hunt there?

No but I was dying to ask several farmers I saw out tending their fields or equipment. It's surrounded by all kinds of private property that has to hold good relics
