Bentonville finds

I found these near the Bentonville NC battlefield and they appear to be old brass. Does anyone know what era they are from. The round one is a button.
Thx,
Homebre

Those look really nice, I like the patina. I believe both items could be part of a watch chain. The item on the right particularly resembles a T-bar from a watch chain, but the patina suggests that both are from the same period and the button could be part of the watch chain as well. How far apart where the two items? The following watch chains were dug from a civil war camp.

Thanks. They were within 20 feet of each other. they were the first things I found when I started hinting the field and found nothing else of value the rest of the day. My friend found some bullets but because of the lack of patina, they may have been from reenacts or local hunters.
