Being neat when retrieving pays off with silver!

I've been hunting a spot near a popular hangout. While others hit the waterfront, I hit the grassy fields nearby.

One of the local landowners was watching me one day while I was detecting. She came over and I talked her ear off... about what I was doing, etc. She said that I was very neat, not like the others who come...

I asked her for permission to her land which holds some 100 yr old cottages, and she said "Have at it!".

Plenty of pennies and deep nails were dug.... but, it all paid off in the end.

Costume jewelry... (it's definitely not silver. It came up as 12-22 on the ETrac... I should get it checked out anyway)

My buddy also had success with his new CTX. He found 6 silver as well.

Back we go tomorrow!

Happy hunting. :twodetecting:

Congratulations on being a fine representative of the hobby Samuel! Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on your first Barber!

Thanks guys. Not my first hunt in that area, so to speak... but our first hunt on that parcel of land. As soon as she gave us permission we were all over it.

It's football field sized. I don't think the regular beach detectorists ever touched it. :clapping:

Excellent finds - congrats !
