You had to get up pretty early in the morning to ever get anything over on my Daddy. After a couple of weeks, Daddy was standing in the kitchen while I was putting the finishing touches on my toast and coffee. He said,
 
My heart aches because I know what was said on the phone and its aftermath.
Go ahead, tell the story. Hopefully someone here will let their kid or grandbaby read it and just maybe they will benefit. <><

And can't wait for more!Your stories brought back some memories.......Like Wayne mentioned,I did similar or worse things in my boyhood days but have never had the guts to write about them!I think most of us can look at the lives of some of our boyhood friends who continued to make the wrong decisions and say ...If not for the grace of God....and parents who cared enough to DISIPLINE us by whatever means needed....to drive home the lesson with a belt if needed (Thats child abuse these days)that could be me.Very interesting story, you tell a good tale!
 
been up north. Your story's make me remember things I had forgotten. I was a rotten kid and even a pretty poor young man.
I am not sure if I will ever post some of the crap I did but you sure are reminding me of some I might get to <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">
