School started right on time , just like always. Now I was in two bands, the Sailoors and the Howard Perrin sixth grade band. As a Sailoor, I was still playing Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane and while in the school band, was playing Colonel John and Little Brown Jug. I was rockin! As the school year progressed, the boys and I didn

I did my share, you can bet on that. I knew the cops but never thought I was a bad kid, at the time.

These are the types of story's that awaken memories in many of us.
How did we ever manage to survive?
Sometimes the stunts are not very smart either. I had a buddy that, along with some friends but not me this time, went to a new subdivision they were putting in, back in the 50's and decided to trash some houses in the process of being built.
They did a lot of things but the way the dang fools were caught was when my buddy wrote his initials in the we plaster. He was busted and his dad rearanged his arse.
The best thing that can happen to a kid is getting caught..

we got caught. I knew then that I might not want to be a sailoor, but I KNEW I didnt want to be a crook!
