I sold my co worker my Quick silver(To help finance my Time ranger) .He has never used a detector before. The third thing he dug,(after two coins)was a 1961 class ring. His neighbor graduated in 1963,and has the contact info of the head of the reunion committee. He is in the works of tracking the owner down.I think it took me over five years to find my first class ring. Happy hunting.

That beginner's thing works in rockhounding and fossil hunting, too. Look at it this way, you got a good, solid high-tone with a friend!

I'm really happy with my Time Ranger. Lots of features for the money.
