Beginner in Williamson County

Hi, I just recently got a metal detector . I would like to know if anyone is from Williamson County in Texas and if they know of a fairly easy spot to search. I have a very painful connective tissue disease and can't wait to hunt , but am limited to the climbing and major bending. Also, can they go in water ?
Thanx !
My email is Vntginspirations@aol.com

Hay Lori,

Welcome to the forum.

I am disabled and can not hunt for long periods.

I am slowly getting some of my strength back.

Recovering targets is hard, but that

Hi Lori:

Hope you team up with someone soon..Just remember have fun, go slow, and don't over do it. The targets will be there tomorrow or when ever you go back.
try some local tot parks for new losses and you will be surprised at all you find. School yards are another good area for detecting....lots of coins..What type of detector did you get.....I didn't see that in your post........Lots of wonderful people on the forums who can, and will help you get it right......Ask a lot of questions !!
