Larry, General and I went out detecting for a while today before the rain came. We were very lucky in our finds. I found a first for me which was the silver thimble. It's got a crown for a hallmark on it and it sure was a pretty sight when I saw it in the soil.
I also found:
5 Wheats; 1891, 1904, 1906 Indian Cents; 1916-S(Type 1) & 1934 Buffalo nickels; 1943 Merc. dime and a few clad coins and a lot of little pieces of aluminum siding. :veryangry: But overall, I can't and won't complain. I had a good time, good finds and good company.
By the way, General is doing great after his surgery. He gets his staples out Wednesday. He loved being out with us again.
Thanks for looking and HH,
Nancy
